Pretty decent western food. Veggie burger didn't have ton of taste, but definitely enjoyable. They have all western sauces which is nice. Typical sports bar atmosphere, but perhaps a little old and tired.

Great place to grab a quick bite. Came here before having to catch a bus to Bangkok and was very impressed. The prices wouldn't leave you out of pocket and the food quality was excellent. I ordered the potato skins and the original burger. The skins were great plenty of them and very enjoyable, as was the burger which was jucy and larger than I thought. My girlfriend ordered the jacket potato as a starter because the waitress said it wasn't too big. It was in fact massive! Could have deffinately been a main on its own. She also got the original burger as a main. Overall experience here was great, the staff were really friendly and the food was great could not complain.

There are few places in Chiang Mai old city I frequent living here, but I personally really like the Chiang Mai Saloon. I have been in here a few times now, and at different times of the day and evening. The owner is great, friendly, welcoming with a cracking sense of humor. The food has always been fresh and delicious and the daytime staff friendly and welcoming. A great place to escape the heat of the day, watch sport or have a relaxing drink. Gets busy Friday and Saturday evenings.

Highly recommend this place, they have a whole Thai menu and then "American/western menu. Very cheap and reasonable for drinks and food. Free pool and they play football matches etc. Great atmosphere for couples and chilling out with a lively atmosphere

We can’t really understand the bad reviews. Granted, the chicken fingers weren’t as good as expected- but that’s what you get for ordering western food in thailand!! The thai food I had was more than delicious, I would come back just to eat it again. Prices were reasonable. You can leave your name with a pen somewhere on the wall, which gives this place a cool vibe. They also have a pool table where you can play. Staff was nice, too. Overall, we would eat there again.

Great iconic place to enjoy. A must if you are in Chiang Mai. Really great staff and very likeable owner. We really enjoyed the saloon and the next time we are there I will not be beaten by the shed on the pool table. Great memories,,thank you all

Terrible! Do not recommend! Thankfully the food was edible, but completely unseasoned. The service was worst ever!!! We were barely noticed and got kicked out of our table because "better" customers arrived, even though there were several empty tables nearby. Also we ordered beer only my friend got a glass, not me. Waiters ignored us and were on their phones, laughing with friends etc. Worst place I have ever been to!

Worth the stop. Excellent food. Love the all beef hamburgers..yummy! Friendly service. Owner is very nice and loves to talk to customers but won't cramp your style.
