So I will say now that the address to the location is wrong and took us to a random residential home. After driving across the city, we found the correct place, and the owner was more than accommodating for us not booking a tour until the day of. The tour guides were fantastic, with a special shout-out to Alex, who was an exceptionally knowledgeable guide.

We just finished a self-guided tour with Chiang Mai Bicycle and it was great. Hans (the owner) is a no-nonsense Dutchman who runs a clean business. He put together a relatively easy family tour over five days with a mix of good accommodation. His bikes are great and his service good. The self-guided tour was an excellent value compared to the prices of the individual resorts he put us in.
We just spent a day with Nooh and it was incredible. The price was much cheaper than any other bicycle tour (or general tour), and it was so nice to explore Chiang Mai with a local rather than a large for-profit tour company. We ate the best food and met the nicest people. The bikes were very comfortable. Excellent value for the money. We absolutely loved Chiang Mai. Book this!!!! You won't regret it.
Average tour, not worth spending a day or half day in Chiang Mai on this. Didn't feel catered for either tourists or locals. The bikes were fine, the guides friendly but I couldn't place it on a spectrum of genuine tourist to local engagement or pitching totally at exciting tourism. It was all going thru the motions at average or lesser level and I don't feel it presented value for money against anything we did on previous or current visits to Chiang Mai.
We were on the same day as the Australian family on this tour. While I am reading this review and also another review on the internet I can not believe this is the same family., during the tour they were quite nice and we got the impression that they really liked the tour. The tour was great and we really enjoyed the countryside. Excellent bicycles and guide. Only thing we know is that there was discussion about payment for the tour, we did not understand this since I think the tour is really good value for money.
