Was passing by with my wife, started looking at some interesting items from outside when the owner kindly invited us in. From there on the experience was great. The owners explained the background of many items, made us some coffee, and never pressured us. I liked two wood carvings and wanted to take them with me as checked baggage. They arranged the packing, answer questions about export certificates (didn't need them), and got us all set. The wooden angels are now protecting our home. Will stop by again next time we are visiting lovely Chiang Mai :)

Lovely people. Beautiful & authentic S.E. Asian antiques & the prices are VERY good. Bought some really wonderful old ornaments. We also went next door to the shop owned by Atitan' mother in law. Very friendly lady & we bought some really nice pieces of old jade set in base metal, which I'm going to have reset. Highly recommend both shops

The couple that own this store are very helpful and knowledgeable! They have an enormous collection of old (and some not so old) antique relics amd treasures from Thailand and other eastern cultures... it is truly amazing walking amongst their amazing collection! I loved this store and the owners were fantastic in giving me their knowledge of the different meanings and explaining the backgrounds of the items i was interested in! They were open during the evening and I'm so glad i stumbled across it! If you are visiting chiangmai don't buy your loved ones rubbish and throw-away souvenirs! COME HERE AND BUY THEM SOMETHING TRULY SPECIAL, SOMETHING THEY CAN KEEP AND HAND DOWN THROUGH THE FAMILY!!! YOU WILL FIND SOMETHING AWESOME I PROMISE!! And all at a very reasonable price! I had to drag myself away... and i will be going back to Australia with some ancient and special gifts for my kids and hubby! You will love buying your sovereigns from here (allow around a couple of hundred australian or US dollars, and you wont regret it! Plus they took credit card, yay lol)....instead of useless rubbish that i would have probably spent that much on anyways, this time i get to go home with some keepsake items to remind me of my beautiful trip to thailand!!

This store is fantastic. Chiang Mai has tons of cheap souvenirs and knock offs at the markets but this store is the real deal for antiques from all over SE Asia and the prices are VERY reasonable. On top of that the two owners (a very cute older couple) are super sweet and gave us water bottles and walked the store with us to give us a brief history of all the items in great English! This is exactly he kind of store we were searching for during our week long visit to Chiang Mai! Bonus: very close to Saturday Walking Market!
