If you want an excellent meal then you MUST visit Bombay Hut! Chef Chang is an amazing Chef and his dishes have to be experienced to be believed. On top of that Chef Chang is a really lovely man - very rare to find these days! Evening - 5 course meal; afternoon - 3 course meal. Book before going and there is car parking available. NOT TO BE MISSED!!!

Beautiful antique restaurant, delicious food. They have a set course menu that you can choose from, and it is all so good! (We tried both the Thai course and the Indian course).) The portions are not very big, but somehow you are stuffed full by the end. Loved our dining experience here, and would recommend it to anyone who can make it out to Mae Rim. It isn’t too hard to find, but you might have a hard time finding a ride there and back!

Update July 2019: new wing is operational, so there's air-conditioned seating! Old wing is closed, but rest assured the eclectic look & feel has been preserved and expanded in the new wing. Menu has evolved to finer items and more polished presentation. Service has improved too! As always, book ahead. Original review 2017: A new discovery north of the city. Prix fixe dining for lunch & dinner... by reservation only. Chef offers multi-course meals, and we enjoyed dinner twice in a week. He puts chicken in most dishes, so we asked to reduce it in favor of beef or lamb. I requested spiciness level at High, else it'll be Average. Taste of the curries is refined, authentic, delightful, especially for beef & lamb. Decor is eclectic, atmospheric; no aircon but fans keep it cool in evenings. Service is efficient for small groups, and Chef enjoys talking with guests. Prices are reasonable for such quality & ambiance!

It was a perfect BD dinner for my friend. The food is fantastic. The chef kept serving us all kinds of appetizers. Pumpkin soup is fantastic. We were literally full even before the main dish was serve. Still we had more room for delicious chocolate mousse with hot tea. Love the place and its decor. The chef is excellent and every body was attentive. After all I couldn't believe that we spent only 990 baht each for this extensive full course dinner. อาหารและบรรยากาศน่าประทับใจมากๆ ครับ ไม่ควรพลาดด้วยประการทั้งปวง
