I can see how this company has some one star reviews and couldn’t agree more with the overpacked comments. We took a speedboat from Phuket to Phi Phi and then from Phi Phi to Koh Lanta. Both trips were super busy and on the second one I had to sit on the floor. I expected the noise of the engines which comes with riding in a speedboat but shouldn’t have had to sit on the floor. The life jacket comments on here are also true as there were not enough for all customers. The ride was pretty ok and it gets you to your destination way quicker then the ferry. Will maybe look at other options available through other companies when we come again however if there were no other options I would ya then again knowing full well what I’m getting myself into. The staff were ok but did want to get you on and off quickly which really isn’t a massive issue. If you choose to ride with them just be ready!!’

We went with Satun Pakbara speedboat from Phuket to Koh Lanta 10 days ago. In the meanwhile I have also traveled with Tigerline speedboat from Koh Lanta to Koh Lipe and Bundhaya speedboat from Koh Lipe to Pak Bara. I must say the experience Satun Pakbara was not pleasant and miles off compared to the other two companies. - 30 passengers squeezed onto a tiny speedboat with no room for manoeuvre (see pictures). Unlike the two other companies, Satun Pakbara speedboat did not install bench type seating. As the boat tilted upwards during travel, everyone was squeezed towards the back and making it very unpleasant for the 2 hour journey. - I made the mistake the purchase the speedboat ticket at the Phuket pier on the day of travel. It cost me 2000 thb one way to Koh Lanta which would have otherwise usually cost less than 1500 thb. This my own fault but I will urge others to pre book in advance rather than letting Satun Pakbara takes advantage of you. Looking at previous reviews, I do not think my unpleasant experience with Satun Pakbara is an one off thing. I recommend not to travel with them.
By far the worst speed boat ride in the world boat was equip with 36 life jackets they packed 60 people on the boat plus luggage for a return ride from PHI PHI to Phuket not enough lifejackets for everyone on the boat when multiple people voiced their concerns the management laughed and got angry and basically told everyone they could get off and be stuck on the island or get on the boat and deal with it Based on what happen with the capsized Chinese boat killing multiple innocent Chinese tourist less than a year ago will not suggest this to anyone stay far away from these money hungry people - putting lives at jeapordy for money- if I could give Zero stars I would !! STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!! Owner sent message requesting additional information this was the 1pm boat from Phi Phi to Phuket the day I posted this review what more information could you possibly need. Your response is also inadequate as you DID NOT have enough life jackets for everyone. We were packed in the boat like sardines and couldn't move and the boat was over filled where passangers were literally sitting in the back near the engines because of no extra seating!
