It's a beautiful place, you practice yoga almost in the beach feeling the breeze from the sea , surrounded by trees. It has a vegan restaurant inside and some bungalows for you stay. They have yoga's instructor course so you may get free yoga class with the yoga's teacher on training, it's a must go place.

Basically planned our entire accommodation plans around Samma Karuna area! I love how they have daily donation-based classes and workshops! Instructors are good. Thank you for being the only one in the island at this time to do this The yoga halls could use daily cleaning as the floors are quite dirty and was hard to do my yoga seeing the floor in that condition.

A great yoga school where I have had the pleasure to do Qi Gong with a amazing shaolin master. The reason why I give 5 stars is not only for this excellent teacher but also because this yoga school has many free lessons to let the people try the quality of many kind of teachment or have the possibility to decide wich one could be the best one for everyone. Another reason why I give the top of rates is because the staff is very kind and helpful, the place is very relaxing, the people is friendly and even without doing any kind of lesson Samma Karina seems always open for a cup of free tea (with ginger and cinnamon) to everybody.
Samma Karuna is a giant stepping stone in learning how to cultivate a life of balance, compassion and community. The practices, workshops and programs offered create a container for transformation unlike anywhere else in the world. The nature is gorgeous. Pristine waters and jungle greens! The restaurant is vegan and delicious! The people: guests, staff, teachers and volunteers are all deeply committed to the work / modalities that they offer. Everyone is easy to connect with and understands how to foster a sense of community. This has made me feel incredibly cared for, especially arriving as someone totally new to Thailand! If you are seeking a personal inner transformation or at least to peer into the window of what that could look and feel like for you, I highly recommend Samma Karuna. You will be well guided and taken care of here.
I have come here a few times during their free yoga sessions where their teachers in training are guiding a class. It has been quiet pleasant. The location is very nice. The hall is very big and can hold up to 50 students. It’s right by the beach coast and if you want soon after your practice you can even take a swim.
Did a number of Yoga and meditation workshops here. TOP THINGS TO DO AT SAMMA KARUNA 1. Inner dance guided meditation 2. Free yoga done by recently graduated yoga teachers 3. Drink lattes at the cafe Great community, nice location. The anti mosquito efforts need to be redoubled. Too many bites!
