Bad experience, feeling fooled. We rented a car with Janny Car Rental to have an insurance. We also had to pay a 10k deposit. When returning the car there was a scratch on the plastic bumper. The scratch was not covered by the insurance and the deposit has been kept. By reading other comments it doesn't look unusual for this company.

We rented a Toyota Fortuner because we had 7 people. They dropped the car off at our resort and picked up at the resort. They also provided, at our request, two children’s seats. I gave them my passport (which I was hesitant about) as deposit and upon return there was no hassles or problems. The car was a bit rough (understandably as driving on The island can be tough) and child seat delivery was an extra wait but overall a very positive experience.

Everything was right here. Swiss operated. No hassle, good service and very responsive flexible. You are on the save side when getting your car here!
Good car, they deliverd and took the care from where we were, and she speaks good english. But! When returning the car, there was a tiny scratch who you could bearly notice. She wanted me to pay 10,000 bhat for that little scratch. Felt very unfair to take that amount of money for this. She did try to calm me down by not charging for the extra day i took.
