Nothing much to shout about this monument honoring 1 of Thailand's most respected poet describing his mystical tale of love and betrayal in a poetry. Even though the statues here are erected based on his tales, and are of fine craftsmanship, there is nothing much to see here besides a large man-made pool and some murals on the walls. Recommended to give this a try basically for its photography value and some selfies.

Nice Monument with some background information about Sunthorn Phu., the Famous Thai poet. Small temple to make merit on site. Some shops around for souvenirs and food/drinks. Expect to spent 30 minutes max.

Soonthornphu is a well known Thai writer. Pretty much every school kid knows him and his Thai novels. His wife and his sun are playing key roles in his stories. The place is clean and it's good to see that there is other places besides Tempels or man made sightseeing events taken care of by locals/authorities and visited by travelers. There are (as everywhere else too) food stands, coffee places and to the event fitted souvenir shops close by. Parking is available.
