Good place to rest after sight seeing in Chatucak market.
A lot of tourists - Chinese in particular. One of the best places in Bangkok to rest yourself from endless workdays. Close by the park is the famous market.
Crowded and busy station - was here on weekend for the market and there were heaps of people. Should have more counters to buy tickets as both ticket counters and machines were long lines. Luckily the trains are frequent and as it is the first stop, there is a good chance of getting a seat.
A terminal BTS station on the Sukhumvit line. It’s the final stop- Terminal and it’s also the stop if one wishes to visit the Chatuchak Weekend Market. It’s usually a crowded station but especially so on the weekends. There are many food and drinks outlets plus also outlets selling apparel n Knick Knacks. There are also the usual fast food chain outlets plus local food delicacies. Train Tickets are via machines but one needs to approach the reception counters for coins change for the machines. This may be somewhat cumbersome n results in quite Long queues. The waiting area is not large so many times there is a crowd. Nevertheless Mochit station serves an important role as it is an essential n popular stop.
