I stayed overnight at one of the cottages at the gym and trained with Kem for a private session sometime mid-april 2019. His staff was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. I watched their workout and sparring sessions and was thoroughly impressed. Kem himself is an awesome instructor. I have over a decade of martial arts experience but am new to Muay Thai. Kem showed me the basics in addition to some of his fight technique/strategies. I need to get in better shape, but whenever I return to Thailand I would definitely return to Kem Muay Thai Gym. He is great at developing fighters and improving technique and strategy for both young and old , beginner and advanced fighters. If you choose to visit I recommend you message the gym on Facebook or visit their website. They can arrange a taxi to and from Bangkok for less than if you were to book for yourself. The surrounding area was beautiful and the food the provided was awesome with plenty to go around. If you stay overnight be sure to bring everything you need based on your own needs and comfort level. Rooms have WiFi and air conditioning. I was told Instructors or Kem will drive you into town if you need to visit an ATM or store, recommend you give the driver a few baht for gas. At this time they accept cash only for payment.

Kem's Muay Thai is set in the lovely hills around Khao Yai. If you want to get away from the distractions of the city and be free to train around the serene hills, this is the place for you. The facilities including the gym itself, and the cottages, are excellent. Training is rigorous but the trainers are nice, friendly, knowledgeable and will know your limits. Kem and his wife Mo are down to earth and truly kind people who will treat you like family. There are no catches here. If you want to get away from the bussle and get high-quality muay thai training, this is the place for you.
