Learning to dive with these guys was among the best experiences of my entire life. I truly mean that. I'm someone who's had something of an irrational fear of being underwater and the protocol they help instill make sure that when you find yourself in any situation you stop, think and react without panicking. It sounds silly and entirely too simple, but when it's your second dive ever and your dive buddy kicks your mask off and you get a nose full of water it's the exact type of training we got that prevents a rapid ascent or something else stupid I could have done in that moment. The views are incredible, the dives are varied, and the instructors are both patient and super personable. I can't recommend these guys enough. If you're getting SSI certified, this is where to do it.

Merlin Divers is the best place to dive in Thailand without a doubt. Audrey was my dive guide and she saved me from scary sea cucumbers and taught me to love ugly moray eels. In all honesty, this was my last dive before flying back to Europe and having a rough year. Although she forgot to sign my logbook, I hope Audrey will be my guide again someday like she's promising me in exchange for this review! ;)

The BEST SCUBA DIVING in Phuket. Found them on Google Maps reviews & definitely, they're awesome! We did 3 wonderful dives: coral reef, wreck & shark point. We saw cuttlefish, leon fish, 3m/9f leopard shark, lots barracudas, map puffers, moray eels & nemos among others. Instructors were guiding advanced/beginner groups in different languages with total professionalism. 100% recommended! FYI: Its photos are fantastic & you get them as soon as you finish the dives so you can share instantly with your relatives. Thanks team, you made my day!

Found the first town and first scuba store in kamala beach. I was impressed with the instructor Tom and all other guides furthering their certifications throughout my dives. I would recommend this dive store for certifications over the one time discover scuba dive. The staff spends more time to make sure you are prepared for the dive and skills training. If you only have time for 1 day with merlin divers then try the discover scuba 1 day 2 dive option. Wear sun screen on the boat ride back as it will help, but wont hurt the coral if you wear it diving. All staff were great during my experience. Recomend tom as an instructor or luke when he is fully certified. Monkong was our boat captain and he is a great local with excellent sea eyes. Last but not least, robert is the store owner. He can help you with any of your diving needs. Very accommodating store owner
