If I could put zero stars I would, Lanna offered substandard treatment, my personal therapist Eve was terrible and the centre was run by a bunch of cowboys, (namely Darren). I was asked to leave because someone had come into my bedroom which is against the rules, (that person should’ve been asked to leave not myself), however by that point they had decided they wanted me gone - and would’ve found any excuse to look legit. I strongly advise against putting your faith and hope for a better future in these manipulative, greedy and lying bunch. They stoles tens of thousands of dollars from me, and I have heard many similar stories from others who have been here.

Was there a year ago for a month. just been for my refresher week so greatful to the lanna team! After 25 years of alcohol and drug abuse I'm free and happy! Can't recommend this place enough! See you next year Lanna for another refresher!
My experience at Lanna from start to finish was overwhelmingly positive. This began with our initial conversations with the owner Darren seemed genuinely concerned with trying to help me succeed rather than getting a quick deposit. The facilities, program and staff were outstanding - Lanna have assembled a truly amazing team and never have I felt more supported and welcomed by so many people at all levels from the front office, support workers, nursing, kitchen, pt, therapists etc. Every staff member was quick to learn your name and what you needed and did their best to make us all feel welcome and at home. I wanted to single out a few groups who were exceptional in my opinion or did something that made my stay memorable. The personal training staff whose enthusiasm and encouragement rubbed off, the therapists who ran group sessions, the massage team did an absolutely exceptional job, and support staff for keeping the wheels on during the down time and dealing with peoples struggles, also my personal therapist for her down to earth approach to my therapy and the therapist who ran singing bowls and art therapy as that was a highlight for me. It was also great to see the gym being recently given a makeover with the new flooring and some new equipment etc The best bit about the place though was creating an environment where people could combat their addiction and have the support of their peers. I took so much away from the relationships built there and am feeling very positive about life ahead. I am not sure how the management assembled the patients but I know some effort is put into make sure people are attending for the right reasons to ensure progress and their success. There so much encouragement and care for each other it made it so much easier to get through the therapy. Thanks for the opportunity and care from your team. I look forward to returning for a refresher.
My JUNE 2019 stay was LIFE CHANGING after a long, dark, difficult time in my life. Lanna staff walked w me thru early sobriety. I loved my room, the facilities, the very supportive staff, the balanced program, the kindness of the nurses, Fun activities, the beginning of my learning how to live again. Thank you ALL.! I do want to go back for a wellness Maintenance refresher.
Great facility and people, focusing on mental health and addiction. I highly recommend Lanna as a treatment facility for both drug and alcohol rehab.
Three months here has saved me. The therapists are amazing, the place is beautiful.. they don't tell you how good the food is, but they have 3 buffets per day. I gained some healthy weight and some good muscle from my personal trainer. They even helped me pay with superannuation. It's like being in a resort but with daily therapy.
I spent 6 weeks at Lanna from December 2018 and would be very happy to recommend it. The techniques they use are well suited for not just alcohol and other substance abuse (which was NOT why I went there), but also for other psychological challenges we might face, (which most of us will experience at some time if life). Many of the concepts, coping mechanisms and ideas I learned at Lanna proved to be even more valuable than I had expected, following the recent, untimely death of a close family member. It was reassuring to me to appreciate just how effective these tools were, just when they were most needed. The staff at Lanna are great: friendly, professional and dedicated and I felt grateful that I happened to come across Lanna and had the opportunity to spend the time needed there. I would be very happy to recommend it to anyone else who is seeking some professional and caring support for the challenges life throws at us!
My sister Ash spent 3 months here recovering from an ice addiction. It was either go to rehab or go to her funeral. She was so sick. Now she is 308 days clean. I cannot thank Lanna enough. The staff are amazing. They saved her life. They even helped us pay with superannuation.
