I’ve now worked in diving in 3 different countries and have been diving in 5 total. Fifty Six is the most recent place I have worked and by far the best in many ways. Attention to detail when it comes to safety is the no. 1 priority followed closely by making sure you have a great time. It was nothing but a joy working here for Rich who does things the right way which can’t be said about every school. There’s a culture here that resonates with you and makes you feel welcomed especially compared to some of the bigger schools on the island. Had to return home due to a certain pandemic but hope to be back soon. Great times to be had here! P.S. the one star review is out of pocket

Wow. What a fantastic experience my family and I had with Fifty56six Dive. The team were very welcoming and by the end of our trip it felt like we had known them for years. Their expertise was outstanding and they gave us a once in a lifetime experience we will never forget. They truly do know the art of diving. I recommend this holiday to all and you will remember it forever. Set in a fantastic location. Book your trip with Fifty56six Dive and you will thank me later. Blandy and his family. Having been diving all around the world and multiple times in Koh Tao, Fifty56Six stands out as one of the best I’ve experienced. The team is always very professional and safety is of the highest importance, and then lots of laughs and friendships made along the way. The perfect combination. Anytime friends are traveling through Thailand I always send them to #56 and they are blown out of the water. Whether first time divers or advancing certifications, everyone loves them. Counting the days to go back! Dive Master here I come! :)
56!! I absolutely loved this shop, went diving with Rich who I’m convinced is one of the coolest men alive. Man was an absolute blast and a great guide! He’s so relaxed underwater like it’s his habitat, also he has lived on the island for years (ask him for the spots to go to after you finish diving). Easily one of my favorite places to go diving in Koh Tao!
It has been a wonderful week...so many fish and lots of other wildlife to see. The guys at Fifty56six have been amazing and we had so much fun. I’d come back again.
Hands down the BEST experience I have ever had. Richard is a very talented diving instructor and so patient. The main thing for me was I felt so so safe under his guidance. If you are thinking of taking a few diving lessons with Richard..please don't hesitate, I promise you won't regret it.
What a great PADI dive centre! A great group of instructors and dive masters, delivering a professional dive service with a range of courses from Discover Scuba Diving, through from Open Water to Dive Master courses. Rich and the team do a wonderful job of getting you comfortable in the water, and also on the island. There's also a great social side to 56, with everyone spending evenings enjoying sunset on the beach and hanging out at the shop having a great time. Can't wait to go back and see the family again!!!
They go above and beyond, and set themselves apart from all the other dive schools on the island. When walking into the dive center, you can instantly tell they care about you getting the best experience on Koh Tao. I enjoyed the manager, who was warm, cuddly, soft, and fluffy... Until you pet his belly. (the black cat clearly ran the joint ) In all honesty 56 was one of the best dive schools I have been to. Standards of equipment and services is very important to them.
