There is a reason why many expats and foreign service members shop here over and over: it is a highly respectable business with excellent customer service, and (most importantly) of the highest quality at a good price. This is also why there are other businesses that constantly try to imitate and impersonate S.J. International, and you must WATCH OUT for them. These are the ones the tuktuk drivers will take you to for a cut, and they will oversell you inferior jewelry and make you believe you’re buying from S.J. But the REAL S.J. International cannot and would not risk their reputation by scamming tourists— their reputation and valuation is the only thing that keeps customers happy, recommending, and returning. They remade my lost wedding ring to perfection (platinum and diamonds), and we love the heritage pieces we purchased for our girls. Do not rely on a tuktuk driver to take you to the right place. Do your research, know where you’re going, and you will be pleased with a visit here. Whether you buy something custom made or off the table, you will find excellent craftsmanship and quality, and it will make a good investment.

Offers wide variety of jewelries with good to excellent craftmanships. If you are lucky then you can experience or watch how do create their masterpiece. They have a viewing room for the production or creation of the jewels located just in front of the house store. Staff or sales person are very friendly and accomodating but will definitely gives you high price and need to ask for a great discount and dont show you are that interested so they can lower the price big time.
I found the staff there very friendly and helpful. I initially bought a couple of good luck stones for myself, but went back a few days later for a ring for my Thai sweetheart, who has the same name as the sales assistant who served me (Duanpen). The only thing l didn't appreciate is that I didn't know I was going there until well into the Temples Tour I booked at the airport. Unfortunately some lowlife in a backpacker hostel stole my stones a few months later. I contacted SJ International about this to try to get replacements sent, but they weren't all that helpful. Next time I'm in Bangkok, I'll be back to test Duanpen's memory of my purchase.
