A tourist trap and I feel in head first. The longboat ride was a great way to get around a see a little of the city, but this market is built just for tourists. Find a better one.

I was impressed and delighted with this place. Everything was in a thousand colors. Fruit, food ... At times you think you're looking at something beautiful. But what can I tell you ??? Everything is in the eye of the beholder ...

A Different Experience... In fact the place is very far from Bangkok and Travel Time requires around 1 and 1/2 hours to reach the place. One has to be patient enough to travel so far. But, one thing is sure you may not get disappointed with the unique place... You can always experience the shopping experience sailing through a small boat. The concept could be well working and popular during old times but yes, the same has been maintained and I can say - it's one of the popular tourist destinations. You can get a chance to buy souvenirs and may be Thailand Clothes, T Shirts etc... A good place to visit...

Damnoen Saduak is the most popular floating market in Thailand, great for photo opportunities, food, and for giving you an insight into a bygone way of life. An early morning start is worth it to avoid the heat and catch Damnoen Saduak at its liveliest. Most visitors who come to Thailand want to visit a floating market and many of them will end up here. Don’t let that put you off though, as it’s an enjoyable morning out of the city and if you avoid the tourist shops you can get a real sense of the place. The market is over an hour's transfer out of Bangkok, and the easiest way to get there is to join a tour. I let you with some pictures about this place. Please is mandatory to eat here Pad Thay.

Damnoen Saduak floating market is the most famous floating market in Thailand. Very good experience to witness how the locals conduct business on the river banks selling goods such as food, clothings & souvenirs. Beware of the bargains needed for the souvenirs, one get way better deals in Bangkok so try avoid buying souvenirs or cloths here.
