The Safari Park offers optional private tour to take photos closely with giraffes and tigers - 1,000 THB per person (advance reservation is required) with additional entrance fee 200THB. If you just want to visit the park, just pay 200THB for a tram to see the animal around. In my opinion, all wildlife in the park have been greatly treated and trained by staff - clean and not too aggressive.

It was actually a pretty cool experience with feeding the giraffes and have them put half their neck through the bus windows. But unfortunately this is another place with the ridiculous policy of charging foreigners more. With a work permit they give you a discount but still not good enough. Not a huge fan of seeing animals in captivity, hard to tell how well they are looked after.

We got a full day of exclusive guided animal encounters. First half was at the Safari Park. Feeding wild cats for the first time there felt absolutely surreal! We got to play with 2 month old leopard cubs, another 2 month old puma/leopard hybrid cub and a 6 month old lion cub - the largest cat species in the world. After that we got on the bus, which we had all to ourselves and we went inside the park. We drove past deers and fed them, after that we passed by the lions and saw two tigers fighting. Seing wild cats up close was truly amazing. Then we got to the giraffe section. Feeding giraffes is so much fun, but incredibly tricky! They have learned how to steal food and act as a group to divide and conquer. While one of them has your attention, the others are stealing carrots from your bowl. Unbeatable! One of them was a 2 years old baby, and already almost 3 meters tall!
