Youth Voices Count (YVC) is an initiative led by young men who have sex with men (MSM) and young transgender community leaders in Asia and the Pacific (Asia-Pacific). YVC comprises of young leaders from various MSM and transgender communities that share common commitment and passion on related response to HIV. In partnership with relevant key stakeholders, YVC works to create opportunities for capacity building and policy advocacy from grassroots level up, in the hope of addressing HIV and other related social determinants which contribute to increased vulnerability of young key affected populations (YKAP). YVC’s core values are human rights based and community driven approach, ownership, empowerment, accountability and transparency.
