I had a great time with Artist Residency Thailand just a couple months ago - I wish it could have been extended (it was that good)! Having spent most of my time with PREM International School, you could see all the details that were taken into account for welcoming an artist. The more days that one chose to invest into the programs & workshops, the more I found a connection between the students, teachers & I. A big highlight aside from this is the accommodation & food as provided by The Country Retreat in Chiang Mai. You'll never be found wanting for anything except more of the tasty food & relaxing atmosphere. Obviously, it's a highly recommended residency for any practitioner to embark upon. my residence made me appreciate both the professionalism and the availability of the people I worked with. The climate that was created with all the staff was of great collaboration, in favor of the team work and aimed at achieving the objectives set. It was a very rewarding experience also from the human point of view. Being able to work and realize my project with a class of children, was unique! I must say a big thank you to Alex Soulsby, who is the creative director & coordinator of the residence, who organized everything and was of a great help for me and for the project. It was an experience I really recommend, in a corner of paradise in northern Thailand.
