I entered Miracles, like many, in a moment of crisis. Plucked from my familiar life and into a space I didn’t know, in a city I didn’t know, surrounded by people I was just getting to know. On the other side of it now, and re-adjusting to life in my proper adoptive home in Thailand, I can say that the month I spent at Miracles was almost certainly the most important of my life. And my life has been full of good times, good friends, achievements, success (by most external measures) but I did not know how to live - to live in the present, to breathe, to listen deeply to others and to myself. I would often joke that I‘d thought residential rehab was a place that the world sent you, when everybody in your life was fed up, so that you could be pried away from booze and drugs. Nothing more. Miracles certainly will get you sober, but it’s so much more than that. Miracles was in fact a school for living. Things I should have learned at 18 and practiced my whole life, I am grateful to have at least finally learned at an age when there is still time for me to live and practice them - to live the life I was supposed to. I never knew what was missing and never would have discovered it if not for the time at Miracles. As it said in one of our counseling modules: “from crisis comes opportunity”. I’ve learned now, in my time outside of rehab, that there is a bit of a shady side of the business - places owned or staffed by people with no personal experience of addiction or true commitment to recovery. I feel lucky to have ended up at Miracles because it is *not* that. A vibe I continually got is that business comes second (or third, or fourth) and through many conversations with Mark (the owner), his wife, and the staff, all of whom I got to interact with regularly in my stay, I know that the people behind Miracles are genuinely, intrinsically committed to propelling you through recovery and showing you a better way to live. It’s a purpose for them.

Luxury at its finest! As soon as I arrived I felt extremely welcomed. From start to finish Miracles Asia fulfilled my expectations of what a premium rehabilitation centre should look and feel like. Not only do you have an incredible level of service, but in addition you are surrounded by the wonders of the beautiful settings of Phuket. Would highly recommend!!
Thank you all at Miracles. I was well supported and engaged through my detox period off methadone and then worked the program to rebuild myself and plan for my future - which is going well so far. Very grateful to all at Miracles. Food is delicious too - thanks Chef! What a happy ending, leading to an amazing new start back home in the uk.
Exceptional rehab with staff that genuinely care and know what they are doing. They create a treatment program that both meets your individual needs and works. Highly recommended.
I came to miracles in Asia reluctant and broken I really didn’t know what to expect on my arrival everybody was so nice and put me at ease. Great location and just loved the sporting facility. Never seen anything like it. My room was very nice, and food was amazing but what made the difference to me was the staff and therapy, I really don’t think I would have made it without their help. The time I spent at miracles Asia was by far the most enjoyable and life changing event of my whole life. I found that many of the staff are recovery themselves they helped me with their life’s experiences and were inspiration to me. They saved my life, it was awesome.
